Christmas season has started and I’m excited to be making a bunch of holiday themed treats. First up is my Mickey and Minnie Christmas Cookies. This is my second Disney-themed Christmas and I’ve already bought so much ornaments from the Disney store and I’ve got my Disney village up.
For my birthday, I got some awesome Disney holiday cookie cutters (Disney Store) from my sister-in-law. I couldn’t wait so I made sugar cookies this past weekend. They turned out to be really cute and delicious!
Sugar Cookie Mix and it’s ingredients
3 tbsp. all purpose flour
Red and green food coloring
Powdered sugar for dusting
Mix the sugar cookie mix and its ingredients plus the 3 tbsp flour to make the dough great for cut outs.
Divide the dough into 2 parts – 1 big for the mouse cut out and 1 small for Minnie’s bows. Refrigerate for about an hour.
Sprinkle powdered sugar on top of your table and roll the dough using a rolling pin. Cut out the shapes using the cookie cutters.
This is how it should look when you’ve laid them out on the pan. I recommend placing parchment paper on the pan to help not let the cookie stick to it.
And here you have Mickey and Minnie’s holiday cookies. I hope you and your family will enjoy them! Be on the look out for my Star Wars Gingerbread cookies next.
